About me
Yine Yenki Nyika is a highly skilled and accomplished individual, with extensive experience in both academia and the tech industry. As the Co-Founder and Mentorship Director at GoGirls ICT Initiative, she is responsible for overseeing mentor training and leading workshops for the organization.
With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Makerere University and previous experience as a Teaching Assistant and Head of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Juba, South Sudan, Yine is well-versed in the field of computer science. A thought leader in the tech community, Yine has spoken and participated in numerous conferences, both nationally and internationally, and has made substantial contributions to initiatives aimed at promoting digital inclusion, mitigating online and offline hate speech, and advancing the participation of girls and women in STEM fields.
As a member of the Board of the National Communication Authority in South Sudan and a coordinator of the Access to Skills and Knowledge network, Yine is dedicated to shaping the future of the tech industry and promoting digital literacy for all.
