About me
Yine Yenki Nyika is a technology leader, educator, and digital inclusion advocate with extensive experience spanning academia, policy, and the tech ecosystem.
She is the Co-Founder and Mentorship Director at GoGirls ICT Initiative, where she oversees mentor training programs and leads capacity-building workshops aimed at empowering girls and young women in technology.
Yine holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Makerere University and has previously served as a Teaching Assistant and Head of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Juba, South Sudan. Her academic leadership reflects her strong commitment to advancing computer science education in the region.
Recognized as a thought leader in the tech community, Yine has actively participated in and spoken at national and international conferences. Her work focuses on promoting digital inclusion, addressing online and offline hate speech, and increasing the participation of girls and women in STEM.
She also serves as a Board Member at the National Communication Authority of South Sudan and coordinates the Access to Skills and Knowledge Network, where she contributes to policy dialogue and digital literacy advancement initiatives.
Yine is passionate about shaping inclusive digital futures and strengthening access to technology-driven opportunities across Africa.
