Robert learned and practiced software installation in the #ASKnet Repair and Tech project in Eden in 2021. He fixed a number of computers that required software updates and upgrade.
Robert fixed a number of hardware devices like phones, inverters, fans, etc. in last year’s Repair and Tech Skills for Livelihood project organized for the community repair cafe.
In the #ASKnet-community podcast project in 2021, Robert was part of the team that produced and edited audio dramas with the participants and later proceeded to introduce scriptwriting.
Robert had his first experience with git and GitHub in 2020 #ASKnet event organized by r0g agency. It was here that he was fully introduced to creating his profile and later awarded a certificate of participatation.
Robert is a South Sudanese national born on April 1st, 1996. He spent his formative years in Yei, South Sudan where he received his education.
However, due to the civil war that erupted in the country, he was forced to leave in 2016 and has since been residing in Uganda. With a strong desire to contribute to the next generation, Robert is determined to engage in skills innovation and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
